Join this 7-day enchanting safari adventure where you will experience the natural wonder of Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe as well as the famous Chobe National Park and the Elephants Sands of Botswana.

Itineraries

Day 1 to 2

Victoria Falls

Your driver will be awaiting for you at the airport which is located 21 km South-East of the Victoria Falls Town to transfer you to Nguni Lodge; a comfortable lodge located in the peaceful area of Victoria Falls with rooms all having their own unique style and decor and approximately 3km from the main falls where you will sleep for two nights; then later towards sundown you will be picked for the Sunset dinner cruise offering splendid scenery with many hippos, crocodiles, including elephants which cross the river to feed on the islands and exotic birdlife. As magical sunset charm settles over the river, lanterns are lit and a wonderful three-course dinner is served. Prepare yourself the following day for a Guided tour of the Falls in the morning then later you will go on for a traditional local village tour and as the evening approaches you will be picked for an unforgettable African experience infused with Zimbabwean cuisine, the buffet Boma Dinner before your tomorrow's early morning transfer to Botswana.

Day 3

Chobe Day Trip

Early morning you will embark upon an unforgettable experience with a thrilling, jam-packed Chobe day trip from Nguni Lodge in Victoria Falls. Situated only an hour’s drive from Victoria Falls, the incredible Chobe National Park in Botswana boasts one of the largest wildlife populations in Africa, not to mention the magnificent Chobe River where you will see herds of elephants, hippos, rare antelopes and often lion, hyena, wild dog and a variety of wild life. This trip consists of two main features: a leisurely cruise along the Chobe River and an exhilarating Chobe National Park game drive. After wrapping-up the border formalities then checking in at Chobe Safari lodge, it’s time for the first activity of the day, which is typically a three hour Chobe River cruise. This water safari gives you the unique opportunity to view the abundant wildlife of the Chobe National Park on the banks of the Chobe River with scattered pods of hippo, and numerous crocodile, whiling away the day, basking in the sunshine. Later after the morning cruise you will be treated to a delectable lunch at one of Botswana’s hotels, found on the riverbank. After a mouthful lunch you will be taken for an amazing game drive into Chobe National Park which is rich in wildlife and bird species. There will be much good chance to see elephants swimming across the river, buffalos, zebras, Kudus, giraffes, sables, and impalas – all of which are spotted on a Chobe game drive from the comfort of an open-air safari vehicle. After such an exciting day trip your guide will drop you at Chobe Safari lodge where you will have your dinner and spend 1 night before your Elephant Sands Trip.

Day 4 to 5

The Elephant Sands

After breakfast you will leave for Elephant Sands which is a bush lodge & campsite in the north-eastern part of Botswana along Nata which was built around the year 2002 by Ben Moller. Elephant Sands is 250km from Chobe or Kasane. Enjoy viewing the elephants at a natural waterhole right in front of the lodge. Watch these impressive creatures whilst they drink at only a couple of meters away from you; enjoy a unique experience with breakfast and buffet dinner included. The following day, early morning you will learn about the fascinating uses of native plants and find out how to identify animal tracks on foot with a professional guide for a bush walk, then, later depart in the late afternoon on a game drive to witness the beauty of the bush; as day turns into dusk you will enjoy your last night by a delicious hearty meal prepared for you by the chef on the open fire for the bush braai.

Day 6

Elephants Sands to Shearwater Explorers Village

After an amazing two night stay at Elephant Sands you will head back to Zimbabwe where you will stay for 1 night at Shearwater Explorers Village which offers the modern pioneer a perfect haven from which to investigate Victoria Falls, widely recognized as the adventure capital of the African continent. The lodge is 100m from the epicentre of the Victoria Falls town with its craft and curio markets, bohemian cafes and overlooking natural African bush panorama, the Explorers Village is the perfect "Base Camp" and by so it is the ideal melting pot for like-minded individuals to explore the wonders of Victoria Falls for the last night of your trip.

Day 7

Depart Victoria Falls

Finally after an interesting trip driving through in some of Botswana’s best visiting sites and the undefiled nature of Zimbabwe you will enjoy your last breakfast and depending with your flight time, prepare for the transfer to Victoria Falls International Airport.

All visitors to Botswana are required to have a valid passport. Visitors to Botswana are allowed to stay for a maximum of 90 days per year. There are different visa regulations for nationals of different countries, so be sure to understand whether or not you will need to obtain a visa prior to travelling to Botswana, or if you can get a visitor's visa on your arrival; so sent us an email for more Inquiries if you are not sure of your VISA status.

Botswana requires visitors who have been to high risk yellow-fever countries to provide a vaccination certificate upon entry into the country. If you do not live or have not visited a yellow fever zone, you do NOT need to produce a yellow fever certificate.
